Becca first discovered gymnastics at five years old, joining a local artistic gymnastics club before moving into rhythmic gymnastics at the age of eight. She went on to compete nationally until the age of seventeen, alongside performing in a variety of shows.
After completing a degree in War, Conflict and Modernity at the University of Brighton, Becca returned to Southampton and reconnected with Bryony, subsequently joining the team at Pickup Dance Southampton.
Becca is a qualified teacher and works at a local college alongside teaching at PDS. She specialises in supporting young people who require additional support and has extensive experience working with children and young people with a range of additional needs.
At PDS, Becca teaches Preschool Ballet and Gymnastic Dance and also supports our Festival Team. Her gymnastics background, teaching experience and calm, supportive approach make her particularly brilliant with our younger dancers.
